  1. Lucyna (and other NZC writers), read my email about the span additions I've made to the template - dropcap and pullquote (see my post below on Windows Live Writer for example of what they look like).

Seemed cool at 12.30am last night when I added - not so sure now, but is available if you want to use. If you do, may have to change colors later if these seem too ugly :)

  2. Well, if that wasn't trevor's nickname before, it's well entrenched now.

Are we doing silly puns tonight again ? ;P

  3. Fletch, I've read it. I don't actually know what the things are that you've added, so, don't know if I need them.

Hi everyone else! I thought I'd rescue Islamic Barbie from a couple of years ago and pop her here, for old times sake.

  4. I'll only do silly puns if I get bored.

Mallard was a bit of a lame duck this week. Seems Tau ruffled his feathers. Probably explains why he was looking down in the mouth.

  5. Good evening everyone.
That islamic barbie is a wanton hussy.
    She's showing her face.
Allah demands women are covered like those ladies Laura Bush met in Dubai earlier this week.
There were barely showing their eyes.
I thought Whale Oil came up with the right name for Mallard- Ducky- did you see his poster?
But I bet the guy who calls him had better watch out.
Which brings me to the 'old dykes home' planned for the Wairarappa.
A lesbian lives on a big farm with six other lesbians- a whole harem of them, it seems.
And she wants to create this retirement home for old dykes.
    What do you think?

    All the best
    Darren

  6. Old lesbians never die, they just go down one last time.

  7. well i'm sure Dear Leader would like to rule forever.
Anyway, what about Rick Giles, banged up in a US jail for overstaying on his visa for a few days.
He was heading over to canada but asked a policeman for directions and got arrested. To think, the poor lad has been inside a month.
TV3 is following up the story. Campbell Live was to run it, but they told me they focussed on the bush fires. Guess Trevor Mallard has scooped up too much coverage as well. It seems Rick's ordeal should be over soon. But why did it take so long for the message to get over here?
Anyway, have a good night everyone. I'm off into the big bad city.
    All the best

    Darren

  8. Poor Rick. If he had worn a poncho he could have just walked unnoticed across the border (yes, I know he was heading to Canada).

  9. Aha, Zen ... I can see how you picked up on my lingual laps with such ease.

  10. & poor Mallard ... nothing worse than giving it your best shot & the guy doesn't drop. So more taunts, I guess, 'flutter like a mallard, sting like a flea.'

  11. Ce qui? Qu'est-ce que c'est? Pourquoi?

  12. How did you see?

And yes indeed to poor Mallard. Maybe he should be demoted to just "Minister for Boxing"?

  13. I've just taken out the DVD for Casino Royale. It's supposed to be a good Bond film, so here we go...

...back later. Hopefully, stirred, not shaken.

  14. Islamic Barbie.... "Do you think my bomb looks big in this outfit?"

  15. Zen, good film; like a Bond reboot.

  16. Casino Royale starring Peter Sellers? ha! :)
Recent one with Daniel Craig was great... though it needed more cowbell.

  17. Haven't seen the Sellers comedy version, but I suspect it's only saving grace is Dusty Springfield singing Bacharach's 'The Look of Love'.
